VIDEO: Arrested Alabama fan maintains innocence, 'Roll Tide!'
Derick E. Hingle / US PRESSWIRE
Whether you reside the most affluent Alabama neighborhood or are the subject of a local drug raid (or both), there is one distinct commonality shared by nearly everyone in the state: Bama.
This was evidenced Wednesday when local police continued their crackdown on the trafficking and usage of illegal drugs. After being arrested for use of a controlled substance, a resident of Etowah County provided this response when asked why police came knocking on his door.
"I'm innocent; Roll Tide!"
The one-liner left police officers chuckling and certainly made for good television, but in the video below, the perpetrator quickly relinquishes his claim to innocence.
But never his allegiance.
