Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin mum on quarterback situation at SEC Media Days
Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin stepped up to the podium at SEC Media Days on Tuesday and made it clear that there was one topic that was off limits:
"I didn't come here to tell you who the QB is gonna be. That situation will play itself out." - Kevin Sumlin

Sumlin added that he expects to name a starting quarterback a couple weeks before the team's opener against South Carolina on Aug. 28.
The top contenders for the position are Kyle Allen, a true freshman and the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2014, and Kenny Hill, a dual-threat sophomore who threw for 183 yards and a touchdown in 2013.
Luckily for the throngs of media in attendance, Sumlin didn't ban questions about his last starting quarterback.
Sumlin on missing Manziel: “Let me get this straight: The question was, what’s it like NOT coaching Johnny Manziel?"
