Alabama head football coach Nick Saban took the podium at SEC Media Days on Thursday and was asked about the rumor that came to light Wednesday that he had been offered a $100-million contract to become the coach at Texas.
Nick Saban: “I did not have any conversations (with Texas) & nobody offered me anything"

Saban was quick to deny the rumor, but he also seemed to be careful in the language he used.
Saban says he had no conversations with Texas which conveniently skirts the issue of Sexton having perhaps in-depth conversations.

Jimmy Sexton, Saban's agent, was rumored to have had discussions with various Texas officials and boosters about bringing the four-time national champion to Austin.
What really went down between Texas and the Saban camp may never really be known, but Alabama fans are surely happy he elected to hang around in Tuscaloosa.
