Charlie Strong removes Longhorns logo from team's helmets at opening practice
The Texas Longhorns haven't been able to take anything for granted ever since new head coach Charlie Strong arrived in Austin.
In an effort to change the culture in the team's locker room, Strong has instituted the mentality of players having to earn what they get.
Not long after his introductory press conference, Strong revealed that he banned his players from using the "hook 'em horns" hand gesture.
The latest example of players having to earn what they get is Strong's decision to remove the Longhorns decal from the side of the team's helmets for their opening practice Monday.

The Longhorns open their season on Aug. 30 against North Texas. Hard to imagine they wouldn't have their helmet decals back by then.
