Ref gets crushed during wet and wild USF-UConn game

It hasn't been a positive experience for referees in the first half of Friday night's bout between USF and UConn.
The slippery affair in college football's lone game of the night has seen heavy rainfall contribute to slips, falls, fumbles and bobbled catches.
During the first half, a referee found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time as UConn running back Ron Johnson scrambled to pick up a lost fumble. In the process, he gave a strong shoulder to the man in stripes:
