Duke University's Board of Trustees gave the thumbs up on Wednesday to launch three projects geared at enhancing the football stadium following the conclusion of this season.

Vice President and Director of Athletics Kevin White announced that private gifts will completely fund the renovation. The completion of the projects is expected to come just before the 2016 season.

The three designs call for a new five-story, 90,000-plus square foot tower which will replace the Finch-Yeager Building located on the west side of the stadium.

A new 42-foot-high 1080p LED video board and speakers will be erected at the south end zone.

It was also announced that the concourse will see touch ups, which include the total number of restrooms jumping from 184 to 495. Inserting seating balconies, and a lowering of the field level, while removing the track to bring spectators closer to the field alike the basketball team's Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke Blue Devils football has seen growth on the gridiron under David Cutcliffe and now their stadium will experience the same expansion.

Currently sitting at 4-0 and coming off a 10-4 season that featured an berth at the Chick-fil-A Bowl, the program looks to continue bridging the successes from the court to the gridiron, especially in the atmosphere.
