Eli Manning thinks Ole Miss has a good chance vs. Alabama

When No. 11 Mississippi faces formidable No. 3 Alabama on Saturday, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning thinks his alma mater Ole Miss can pull off a win. 

"I think we have a good chance," Manning said Thursday after Giants practice. "We're playing real well on defense, and Alabama's maybe not the same Alabama they've been on defense in recent years. We're playing at home. I think we have a good shot." 

Manning also called out impressive Alabama quarterback Blake Sims who has yet to face the tough Ole Miss defense that is statistically the best in the SEC. 

"They have a new quarterback, so you look and say maybe our defense can rattle him a little bit, and then our quarterback's got to play well," Manning said.
