The damage was so bad Idaho athletic director Rob Spear billed WMU $500 for the cleanup and repair costs, although the final tab may have been higher. WMU AD Kathy Beauregard didn't hesitate to comply.
"As you will see the locker room was left quite messy," Spear wrote to Beauregard in a Sept. 15. email. Spear said the locker room is normally used by his school 's track-and-field team.

Players also ripped down a signed championship poster and cooked it in a microwave along with other items.
"We may have more serious problems related to the damage done to the sink's (sic) in locker rooms A&B," Spear wrote. "Apparently those sinks are loose and may need to be remounted."
Beauregard sent a note of apology, telling Spear she will heighten the school's standards in order to mitigate any future acts of disrespect.
"Again we do apologize and if it helps at all we have implemented new policies to make sure we never put any team we play in this situation again," she said.

Although the incident occurred nearly a month ago, The Associated Press obtained emails and photos of the carnage through a public records request Monday.
