This year's dogfight between No. 1 Mississippi State and No. 3 Ole Miss won't be cheap for fans to witness.
StubHub lists the cheapest ticket for the annual clash, dubbed the Egg Bowl, at $320 dollars. That's for a standing room ticket, and not an actual seat at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford.
To sit down at the game, fans are looking at spending $365. And the most expensive ticket? That would be row 32 behind the north end zone, which costs $11,701, as of Monday.
Both teams are 6-0 overall, with 3-0 records in the SEC. Mississippi State took down No. 6 Auburn 38-23 on Saturday, while the Rebels beat No. 21 Texas A&M 35-20.
Both teams finished off conference play with identical 3-5 records last season. Ole Miss finished the regular season overall at 7-5, while Mississippi State posted a 6-6 record. The Bulldogs notched their final win of the regular season in a much less meaningful 2013 Egg Bowl, knocking off the Rebels 17-10 in overtime.
The winning score? A three-yard Dak Prescott touchdown run.
This year's Egg Bowl carries much more significant implications, possibly serving as a playoff warm-up, provided both teams continue their outstanding play.
