Georgia Tech's Laskey, Perkins out vs. Virginia
Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports
Two top Georgia Tech running backs will have to sit this week.
Zach Laskey and Charles Perkins will not play Saturday against Virginia, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Ken Sugiura reports.
Laskey, who is second on the team with 595 rushing yards and a team-leading five touchdowns, is recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered against North Carolina on Oct. 18.
Redshirt senior Synjyn Days is expected to replace Laskey again in the starting lineup after recording his first career 100-yard game against Pitt last Saturday.
This season, Perkins has 261 rushing yards and no touchdowns. He injured his knee versus Pitt.
