Auburn's Kris Frost speaks on Laquon Treadwell injury

Auburn linebacker Krist Frost is heralded for the tackle that helped secure the Tigers' 35-31 victory over Ole Miss on Saturday, but the play and victory came at the cost of one of opponents' seasons.

Frost expressed his feelings on the play that resulted in a gruesome injury for Rebels wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, according to AuburnTigers.com

"I know the whole Auburn family hopes he's all right... But for the most part, I was just trying to get away and let the trainers do their job. I'll definitely be looking out and seeing how he's doing," Frost said.

His tackle on Treadwell from behind, which also caused the game clinching fumble, before he could cross the end zone resulted in a broken leg and dislocated ankle for the Rebels receiver.

"I knew when he got inside the five, I was trying to pull him back at first, trying to keep him from going into the end zone... Basically, I was just trying to prevent him from getting into the end zone. I felt the ball a little loose and tried to strip it. It came out, and the call went our way," Frost said.
