Virginia Tech's Marshawn Williams 'probably done for the season'

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

Virginia Tech running back Marshawn Williams will likely miss the remainder of the regular season after suffering a knee injury against Duke on Saturday.

“He’s probably done for the season,” Virginia Tech doctor Tony McPherron said. “We have a pretty good idea right now, to be honest with you, but we’ll let you know once the MRI’s official.”

Williams had 124 carries and 475 rushing yards for four touchdowns before the injury.
