Ole Miss and coach Hugh Freeze agree to contract extension

Head coach Hugh Freeze will stay in Oxford, Miss. for the foreseeable future, according to Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork.

According to a report by ESPN, Freeze's multi-year extension spans four years and is worth $4.5 million per year. It also includes raises for his assistants.
In three seasons with the Rebels, the head coach has led Ole Miss to a 24-14 record, including 9-3 so far this season, and defeating once top-ranked Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
