Oklahoma's Samaje Perine suffers sprained ankle in loss to Oklahoma State
Oklahoma freshman running back Samaje Perine was forced out of Saturday's game against Oklahoma State with a a sprained ankle.
Perine was stuffed and fumbled the ball on a stretch run to the right in the third quarter and writhed around on the field in pain before he was attended to by the team's training staff.
Note long after, Perine was spotted with his ankle wrapped on the sideline after he was surrounded by the team's medical staff.

Perine was "visibly distraught" on the sideline and was being consoled by his teammates. He did not return to the game.
"He has a sprained ankle. How severe, I'm not sure. I think he will be OK here soon," head coach Bob Stoops said after the game.
Stoops also said that Perine still has a chance to play in the Sooners' upcoming bowl game.
The freshman Perine had 151 yards against the Cowboys prior to leaving and has rushed for 1,579 yards and 21 touchdowns on the year.
