Report: J.T. Barrett involved in domestic dispute
Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was involved in a domestic dispute on Tuesday, according to a police report obtained by ABC-6 in Columbus.
Barrett reportedly called Columbus police during a dispute with Alexandria Barrett-Clark, who was identified as his girlfriend. Both parties reportedly made assault allegations.
Barrett-Clark refused to leave Barrett's apartment after he told her to do so, according to the report.
From ABC-6:
Barrett says Barrett-Clark hit him. In the report, he says he pushed her away in self-defense, which caused her to fall to a bed. Barrett says he again asked her to leave. Again, he says, she refused.
Barrett-Clark says she told Barrett that she would leave in the morning.
She told police that Barrett confronted her in his bedroom and "choked her on the bed." She said Barrett used his forearm to apply pressure to her neck before taking her phone away from her.
Barrett-Clark told police she managed to get away from Barrett and call police.
There were no visible injuries on either of the two and ultimately no charges were filed.
