Dismukes, a senior, beat out Michigan State's Jack Allen, Georgia's David Andrews, Kansas State's B.J. Finney and Oregon's Hroniss Grasu for the award.
Dismukes is the first Tiger to win the award and first SEC player to win since LSU's Ben Wilkerson did so in 2004, where he tied with Michigan's David Baas.
