NFL Scout: Marshawn Lynch a bad influence on Marcus Peters
It's very difficult to draft the best corner in college football when he's not in college football anymore.
That's the conundrum every NFL general manager will face come draft day when they come across former Washington Huskies cornerback Marcus Peters, who was dismissed on Nov. 6.
Now, there's a twist. One NFL scout, who praised the junior for his ability, said his relationship with Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is toxic, according to Adam Jude of The Seattle Times.
"He's a talented kid, no doubt. And it only takes one team (to fall in love with a player)," he said. "From all the stuff that he’s been involved in and the chances he's gotten and the immaturity he’s shown, it's going to be tough for him. … They're all professionals up here and they won’t put up with that BS.
"Hanging out with Marshawn (Lynch), that was probably the worst thing for him."
Lynch is widely known as one of Peters' mentors, as both are from the Oakland area. Here's a video of them going at it when Peters was still in high school.
