Ohio State, Oregon given Beats headphones
Ohio State received a special gift from a long-time program supporter ahead of the national championship game against Oregon on Monday.
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James gifted the Buckeye team Beats by Dre headphones. James is a Beats by Dre spokesperson and partner.

While the gift may appear questionable in light of compliance rules, an Ohio State spokesperson sent assurances that it's not a violation of NCAA rules.
"LeBron helped facilitate the connection with Beats by Dre," said the spokesman. "The headphones were donated to Ohio State and were distributed within permissible NCAA limitations on awards."
Schools are allowed to give their players gifts worth $400 for the national championship game, and the winning team can give another $415 in gifts to its players. The value of the Beats By Dre headphones will be deducted from that amount.
Oregon players also received headphones from Beats by Dre on Saturday from the Pac-12 for playing in the conference championship game last month.
