It pays well to be an offensive coordinator with the Bulldogs.
Newly-hired offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will earn $950,000 annually on a three-year contract, Georgia revealed in compliance with the Macon Telegraph's open-records request.
Schottenheimer will be earning almost as much as previous offensive coordinator Mike Bobo earned over two years. Bobo was receiving $575,000 annually before taking the head coaching job at Colorado State.
Schottenheimer's base salary is $375,000, but he'll also receive a salary supplement of $575,000 paid in quarterly installments.
