Iowa quarterback Jake Rudock won't be returning to the Hawkeyes, as the senior is set to transfer, coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed on Wednesday.
Rudock, who started the past two seasons under center, will have one more year of eligibility. As a graduate transfer, he'll be immediately eligible to play.
In two seasons, Rudock threw for 4,819 yards, 34 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. The biggest improvement from the Florida-native was his interceptions mark.
In 2013 he struggled with hitting his target, throwing 13 total picks in 346 attempts. With a near-identical number of throwing chances in 2014, he found his game, throwing only three interceptions.
