Jonathan Taylor's accuser recants allegations, charged with false reporting
Jonathan Taylor's accuser has recanted her allegations of domestic violence just days after his arrest and subsequent dismissal from Alabama.
The 24-year-old female contacted police on Mar. 30, claiming the domestic violence complaint she filed on Saturday against the former Crimson Tide defensive tackle was fabricated, according to a release obtained by Tusacloosa News' Stephanie Taylor.
The complainant initially alleged that she and Taylor were in an argument that turned physical, where he caused physical harm to her neck and damage to property in her apartment.
After investigators interviewed the female and she continued to maintain her statements were lies, she was charged with False Reporting to Law Enforcement.
Taylor was dismissed from Alabama on Sunday following his arrest. It was his second domestic violence arrest in under a year.
According to the statement, Taylor's charges will be reviewed at a later date.
