Fans who have always wanted to experience being the signal-caller during a college football spring game may be in luck.

Arkansas State announced it will be doing its second auction of its “Coach Experience” opportunity, which will offer a lucky fan the chance to serve as the Red Wolves' head coach during their spring game on April 17.

The auction, being held on eBay, will reward the winner with a chance to have a friend coach the opposing squad during the scrimmage. Teams will be made up through a fantasy draft between the coaches.

“I know our staff loved this experience last year, and we want the winning bidder to again walk away with a wonderful experience and memories that will last a lifetime,” said current head coach Blake Anderson. “I think not only our fans, but a lot of college football fans in general, got a kick out of it too. It just adds another fun dimension to our spring game for everyone involved.”

The coaches will be permitted to offer pregame and halftime pep talks to their teams and be in communication with the assistant coaches throughout the game.

The Red Wolves also included a Powerade bath for the winning coach as extra incentive.

Bidding started at $1,000 and will run through April 11 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Nick Bhardwaj won last year's auction with a bid of $11,700. He won the game 48-17.
