The house of College Football Hall of Famer and former coach Lou Holtz sustained extensive damage in a blaze on Sunday.
Fire department spokeswoman Ashley Papagni said that more than 60 firefighters and 26 fire vehicles responded to a fire at the 11,000-square-foot house in the gated Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, Fla., in the early hours of Sunday, according to the Orlando Sentinel's Henry Pierson Curtis.
After more than three hours, the blaze was extinguished at 5:59 a.m. and two firefighters sustained minor injuries, the spokeswoman said.
Video from WNDU South Bend shows severe damage to the Holtz home.
Officials are checking into the possibility that lightning strikes caused the blaze.
The extent of the damage is unknown.
