Tyler Cameron will spend his remaining two years of eligibility as an Owl.
Formerly a quarterback for Wake Forest, Cameron has joined the Florida Atlantic football team.
"Tyler is intelligent and made use of his athletic ability to earn a degree from Wake Forest in just three years," head coach Charlie Partridge said in a statement released by the school. "It is that same drive that affords him the opportunity to return home and work toward a post-graduate degree. He will certainly add experience and depth in the quarterback meeting room."
Appearing in three games in 2013 and three last season, Cameron has thrown for a career 140 yards and zero scores against three interceptions.
