The rival origins of two young Alabama linebackers' are making waves in the locker room.

Crimson Tide linebacker Reggie Ragland revealed during SEC Media Days on Wednesday that the hometowns of both sophomore Rashaan Evans and junior Reuben Foster are making for some interesting team meetings.

"Rashaan, we pick on him all the time because he's from Auburn," Ragland said smiling, according to AL.com's Michael Casagrande.

Evans could have chosen to play for the local Tigers as a five-star recruit – his father played at Auburn. Foster, who was once committed to the in-state rival, has an Auburn tattoo on his arm.

"Reuben, he still has that Auburn tattoo, so sometimes we make him cover it up. Sometimes we don't," explained Ragland.

But Ragland made sure to stress that he is close to both linebackers.

"I'm glad them guys are with us and those two are my brothers, my little brothers. I'd do anything for them," said Ragland. "They know they can come to me if they need help or need something. Those guys are going to have to help us out this year and I think they have the right mindset going into it."

Foster will compete next to Ragland for the middle linebacker starter role.
