Pittsburgh defensive end Rori Blair has been charged with driving under the influence stemming from a March 15 incident, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Liz Navratil.

According to a criminal complaint, the 20-year-old was pulled over after going 117 mph in a 55-mph zone. The trooper wrote he "detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from (Blair's) breath and about his person as he spoke along with blood shot glassy eyes."

After testing positive for cannabinoids in a blood test, the police charged Blair using summons on Monday with driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, and other violations.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi said during ACC Kickoff on Tuesday that he knew about the incident right away after Blair came to him. Narduzzi also said the defensive end has faced punishment, and "there will probably be more."

"We talk all the time about choices," said Narduzzi told the media. "It’s a moment where someone lost their mind a little bit and made a bad decision."

Blair had a hemorrhagic stroke in his junior year of high school, saying that he did not think he would touch the field again to play football. He subsequently recovered.
