College Football's Twitter Heroes: Ohio State's Cardale Jones vs. Michigan's Harbaugh
As if the Big Ten needed another rivalry, both Ohio State and Michigan are gifted with two individuals that light up Twitter with every 140 characters they send.
While Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones' strategy is more in-your-face, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is a steady sub-tweeter, with his jabs flying under the radar.
Let's take a look at some offseason highlights.
Cardale Jones
The best thing to bless the Twitter dot com since manual RTs.
Shoot your shot, 2015
Jones tried to snag a date with UFC fighter Ronda Rousey at the ESPYs, as well as get Kendall Jenner's attention, because you miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.
Is it weird that I have a crush on @RondaRousey and scared of her at the same time
— Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) July 16, 2015
@RondaRousey but if you already talking to a UFC fighter I'm cool ?
— Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) July 16, 2015
@KendallJenner heard you here? What section?
— Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) July 16, 2015
Get it right
Jones let the world know, without shame, that he schooled a sick child in the
"NCAA Football" video game.
Man I wish everyone stop saying I beat a kid in the hospital 91-35.... It was 98-35, had 91 with 1:26 left in the 4th pic.twitter.com/TAJxefv5A4
— Cardale Jones (@CJ12_) February 10, 2015
@bearfoley rematch? You sure? May I remind you....... 98-35, lucky that wasn't on PS4, I really took it easy on you bro

100 Percent Beef
Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah drew the ire of the Buckeyes quarterback while he attended Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, mouthing "you ain't in the SEC" when Jones was on the mic.
Cardale generously offered to lay his hands on Noah.
@JoakimNoah watch yo mouth before I give you these hands chump

I'm at @JoakimNoah neck the rest of the series for that comment

May Fools!
That time the beloved quarterback pretended he was going to transfer to Ohio because "May Fools" is a real thing in his world.

Honorable mentions
- Jones offended female sports fans on Twitter but, oops, he was "hacked"
- Jones shut down a Buckeyes fan after participating in a hashtag about racial violence
Jim Harbaugh
You're so weird, Jim.
Deflate-troll-gate
Harbaugh could not help but poke fun at Tom Brady and the New England Patriots' soft balls while in Peru.
Brb, laughing forever.

Oh, Judy
The head coach revealed his Judge Judy fandom with a tweet congratulating the TV judge on her contract extension.
Big Congrats to Judge Judy on signing her contract extension thru 2020 from a Devout Fan!
— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) March 3, 2015
And after she thanked him on Twitter, Harbaugh could not contain his excitement:
A shout out from @JudgeJudy would make anyone's day, thank you! The BEST! & Excellence are easy to spot, Judge Judy is it's highest level.

Musically-inclined
Harbaugh let us all know that he appreciates good music, with a graphic congratulating Big Sean and gifting Lil Wayne with a jersey.
And let's not forget his foray into the marching band realm.
Thanks, @CoachJim4UM, for taking the time to take an Oscar selfie with the band! #LookinGood #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/7P4EPReT5O

Behind the veil
The newly hired Michigan head coach brought out the big guns – a Sir Walter Scott quote – to take a veiled shot at Ohio State's running backs coach Stan Drayton, who left to take a job with the Chicago Bears after recruit Mike Weber committed.
Thought of the day - What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive! - Sir Walter Scott
— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) February 7, 2015
The Buckeyes' director of player personnel had a "thought of the day" of his own that looked like a shot back at the rival coach.
Cow-baugh clunker
Harbaugh gave us all second-hand embarrassment thanks to his awkward interview with ESPN's Colin Cowherd.
The coach took to Twitter after to call the interview what it was: a clunker.
In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker.
