Tyvis Powell on marriage: 'I didn't even take a knee at the end of the Sugar Bowl'
Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports
Apparently, the only jewelry Tyvis Powell will be rocking are his championship rings.
The Ohio State safety made it clear he won't be getting down on one knee anytime soon. As evidence: recall his Sugar Bowl interception against Alabama that hammered home the Buckeyes' 42-35 victory. The same interception he returned for 29 yards instead of taking a knee on the final play of the game.
Powell remembers it well:
Somebody asked me "Hey TP you ever getting married?"
My response "I didn't even take a knee at the end of the Sugar Bowl" lol

What is that? The sound of women everywhere, crying.
