Syracuse has reportedly lost a recruit.
Four-star running back Robert Washington has decommitted from the Orange, according to Scout.com's Mike McAllister.
Washington, who pledged to join Syracuse in April, is ranked the No. 8 recruit in North Carolina, and the No. 9 running back in the nation by ESPN.
Ranked on ESPN 300 at No. 144, the 5-foot-10, 201-pound recruit originally chose the Orange over offers from a host of teams, including Alabama, Ohio State, and Baylor, among others.
