Western Michigan running back Jarvion Franklin left Friday's game versus Michigan State with an apparent head injury, according to the ESPN broadcast.
Franklin was on the receiving end of a big hit from Spartans safety RJ Williamson. He left the contest after managing just 23 yards on the ground.
The Broncos can ill afford to lose the back, who ran for more than 1,500 yards last season and was the MAC Player of the Year.
