Turnovers dominated the third quarter of Saturday's highly anticipated Arizona State-Texas A&M game, none, though, more egregious than Demario Richard's fumble on his team's 6-yard line.
The Sun Devils running back lost control of the ball as he shot out of the backfield, allowing Aggies cornerback Noel Ellis to recover it only four yards away from the goal line.
In a microcosm of the game's offensive malaise, Texas A&M could only muster a field goal on the ensuing drive.
The Sun Devils, appearing refreshed from the miscue, went down the field on their next possession to score a much-needed touchdown, cutting the Texas A&M lead to 17-14.
