Ford Tough Performers of the Week highlights five players who excelled on the college gridiron Saturday. These players' contributions positively impacted their team's quest for victory.
Alabama's Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry went to work early in Alabama's 41-23 win over Texas A&M. Henry rushed for a career high in just one quarter of football with 153 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns. The junior finished with 236 yards. Saturday marked the 12th consecutive game he's rushed for a score - an Alabama record.
TCU's Trevone Boykin

Surprise, surprise. It's nothing new for Trevone Boykin to have a big game. Boykin helped lead high-flying TCU to a 45-21 victory over Iowa State. All he did was complete 27-of-32 for 436 yards and four touchdowns. The quarterback also ran for 74 yards and one touchdown.
Baylor's Corey Coleman

Corey Coleman is well on his way to putting Baylor's touchdown receiving record out of reach. Coleman caught 10 balls for 199 yards and three touchdowns to break the single-season school record, previously held by Kendall Wright. Coleman has 16 receiving TDs through just six games and it was also the junior's fifth consecutive multiple-touchdown game.
Baylor's Seth Russell

Seth Russell put himself in pretty good company Saturday in the Bears' 62-38 win over West Virginia. Russell completed 20-of-33 for 380 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 160 yards and a score. The junior joins Robert Griffin III as the only Bear quarterbacks to record at least 300 yards passing and 100 yards rushing.
Iowa's Akrum Wadley

With starting running back Jordan Canzeri injured, Iowa's Akrum Wadley made the most of his opportunity on the road against Northwestern Saturday. Wadley rushed for 204 yards and scored four touchdowns in the 40-10 victory over the Wildcats. That's the first time all season that Northwestern allowed a 100-yard rusher, let alone 200 yards.
