Report: Oklahoma's Austin Bennett no longer with program
Kevin Jairaj / USA TODAY
Oklahoma wide receiver Austin Bennett is no longer with the team, reports Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World.
No immediate reason was offered for the departure, though it's likely that Bennett intends to transfer, considering his limited role with the Sooners.
In two seasons in Norman, he made three catches and wasn't dressed for the team's opener against Akron last week.
The Sooners won that game 41-3.
