Utah quarterback Travis Wilson sat out the last minutes of the first half of his team's game against Utah State after leaving the field with what appeared to be a shoulder injury
He did not return for the start of the second half and was latter seen on the sidelines with his arm in a sling.
Wilson hobbled off after taking a hit while running for an impressive 38-yard gain in a fast-moving offensive drive in the second quarter.
He remained on the field for the next play but sat out the one that followed, which saw Devontae Booker run 4 yards for a touchdown, putting the Utes up 14-7.
Wilson was replaced by Kendal Thompson.
