Lasco is suffering from a strained muscle in his hip, but should be ready to play in Week 3's road matchup at Texas, SFGate.com reports.
Analysis:
Lasco apparently suffered the injury to his hip after colliding with a San Diego State defender on a 9-yard run in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 35-7 win over the Aztecs. Head coach Sonny Dykes notes the senior is "sore right now," but should be available Saturday as Cal travels to Lasco's home state of Texas to take on the Longhorns in Austin. Expect additional information on Lasco's status to be released after the team meets on Tuesday.
