Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel has suspended quarterback Maty Mauk and offensive lineman Malik Cuellar for disciplinary reasons related to a violation of team policies, the school announced Tuesday.
The suspensions are currently slated for one game, Saturday against South Carolina, after which both of their statuses will be re-evaluated.
So far this season, the junior pivot has thrown for 654 yards, six touchdowns, and four picks. Mauk has also rushed for 145 yards and one score for the 3-1 Tigers.
Cuellar, a junior college transfer, was a 2014 All-Conference honoree at City College of San Francisco.
