Georgia Tech's Adam Gotsis ejected for helmet-to-helmet tackle

Georgia Tech defensive lineman Adam Gotsis was ejected from Saturday's game against North Carolina for targeting the head of Tar Heels quarterback Marquise Williams.
Gotsis was flagged when he hit Williams in the head while the quarterback was in the pocket. The play was reviewed and officials determined that he initiated contact with his helmet, and was immediately disqualified.
With the penalty coming in the first half, Gotsis will only miss the remainder of the North Carolina game. If the call had occurred in the second half, the senior would've been ineligible to play the first half of the Yellow Jackets' next game against Clemson.
Gotsis' six tackles against Duke last week tied his career high.
