Iowa running back Jordan Canzeri left Saturday's game against Northwestern late in the first quarter with an ankle injury and didn't return.
Canzeri stayed down on the field for a while before the team's trainers carried him off the field and carted him to the locker room. He returned to the sidelines in a walking boot early in the second quarter.
Thankfully for the Hawkeyes, though, head coach Kirk Ferentz said postgame that Canzeri only suffered a sprain.
Canzeri has the sixth-most rushing attempts in the FBS this season, racking up 697 yards and nine touchdowns for the Hawkeyes, and even contributing in the passing game.
