Rutgers receiver Leonte Carroo will not play Saturday versus Wisconsin because of an ankle injury, the team announced.
Carroo has been dealing with the ankle issue for a couple of weeks after spraining it earlier in October against Indiana. He managed to suit up last week against Ohio State, but was held in check, with only three catches.
The senior was suspended for two games earlier this season due to assault charges, which were eventually dropped. When on the field, though, Carroo has been difficult to stop, posting nine touchdowns in five games.
