ACC suspends officials for errors on Miami's game-winning TD vs. Duke
Miami's stunning last second win over Duke has been the center of attention not only for the miraculous eight-lateral play, but for apparent mistakes by the officiating crew.

The ACC announced the on-field officiating crew as well as the replay official and communicator have been suspended for two games.
Officials reviewed the play and missed three important factors: a Miami player's knee being down before releasing the ball, an illegal block in the back against the Hurricanes, and incorrectly picking up a flag for a different illegal block, ruling it a block from the side.
If any of the infractions were called, the play would have been called back, likely resulting in a victory for Duke.
The ACC released this statement Sunday, addressing the issue:
"The quality of our officiating program is of the highest importance to the league and its schools, and the last play of the game was not handled appropriately," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. "Officiating is an extraordinarily difficult job but our players, coaches, programs, and fans deserve the best that can be offered. We will continue to strive to meet that standard."
