It appeared Saturday that LSU wasn't over last week's loss to Alabama, and Arkansas couldn't have cared less.
For the second straight week, the Tigers were unable to stop their opponent's ground game. This week, it was Alex Collins who torched the Tigers, rushing for 141 yards on 16 carries with a pair of touchdowns in the 31-14 win.
Here's what you need to know...
- Arkansas held Leonard Fournette to just 91 yards - the second consecutive week he didn't reach the century mark. In fact, if you added his yardage from both games together it would still be a season low.
- LSU's defense allowed touchdowns of 80, 69, and 52 yards.
- After throwing for 442 and six touchdowns last week against Ole Miss, quarterback Brandon Allen had only 141 yards and one touchdown.
- The Razorbacks' defensive line sacked Brandon Harris five times and also had eight tackles for loss.
- Arkansas out-gained the Tigers 440-330, with much of the Tigers' yardage coming late in the game.
- The loss officially eliminated LSU from the SEC West.
- With the win, the Razorbacks claim the Golden Boot Trophy, which resembles both states, and is the heaviest in college football.
- This was Arkansas' first win as an unranked team over a top-10 team since they defeated LSU in 2007.
Play of the Game
Bret Bielema went for the jugular up 10 points in Death Valley. Jared Cornelius took the handoff on this fake end-around and was gone, and so were the LSU fans.
Next up, Arkansas heads home to face Mississippi State, while LSU travels to Ole Miss.
