Stanford's Christian McCaffrey breaks Barry Sanders' all-purpose yards record

The records keep coming for Stanford's Christian McCaffrey. The running back broke Barry Sanders' FBS all-purpose yards record of 3,250 on Saturday against USC in the Pac-12 championship game.
The Cardinal sophomore broke the 27-year-old record with a two-yard run on first-and-goal.
Sanders set the record in 1988 while at Oklahoma State, and accomplished the feat in two fewer games than McCaffrey.
McCaffrey will now hope to mirror the great career of Sanders one more time next week in New York, when the winner of the Heisman Trophy is announced.
