Report: Georgia's Brian Schottenheimer won't coach in bowl game

Georgia offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will not coach the Bulldogs in the TaxSlayer Bowl versus Penn State, according to Seth Emerson of DawgNation.
The news leaves Georgia in a state of flux, as former head coach Mark Richt and defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt won't coach in the game either.
Receivers coach Bryan McClendon is expected to serve as interim head coach for the contest.
It's unclear if Schottenheimer resigned or reached a settlement with the school, according to Emerson.
Georgia's offense finished 75th in the nation during Schottenheimer's only season running the show.
