Cincinnati quarterback Gunner Kiel has not been at practice this week due to personal reasons, a team spokesman confirmed to Tom Groeschen of Cincinnati.com.
The team indicated they may have an update about Kiel on Wednesday.
Kiel threw for 2,777 yards with 19 touchdowns this season. It remains to be seen if the signal-caller will be available for the Hawaii Bowl on Dec. 24, when the Bearcats face San Diego State.
