It's only fitting that Corey Clement's final game of the 2015 season was cut short by injury.
Wisconsin's star running back was forced to leave the Holiday Bowl against USC after suffering an ankle injury. Clement was banged up a couple of times in the game and, after getting his ankle taped up, looked to be ready to come back in.
However, the tape was then removed by the training staff, and he was taken back to the locker room, clearly frustrated. Wisconsin announced his return to the game as questionable.
A big year was expected out of Clement after he took over feature back status with Melvin Gordon off to the NFL. He was injured during the Badgers' first game of the year, though, and it lingered throughout the season. He ended up appearing in only four games and never had more than 19 carries.
