Memphis tabs Arizona State's Chris Ball to run defense

Memphis coach Mike Norvell announced Monday that Arizona State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ball has been named the Tigers' new defensive coordinator.
Ball had been with the Sun Devils since 2012, and was the team's co-defensive coordinator since 2013.
Norvell announced several other additions to his staff, including the official hiring of Arizona State's Chip Long as the offensive coordinator.
