Here are theScore's pitcher value rankings for Monday, April 11:

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Kyle Gibson (MIN) vs. CWS 10
Max Scherzer (WAS) vs. ATL 9
Sonny Gray (OAK) vs. LAA 9
Nick Tropeano (LAA) at OAK 9
Andrew Cashner (SD) at PHI 8
Jon Lester (CHC) vs. CIN 8

Gibson and Tropeano are two of the cheapest pitchers on the slate. Inexpensive pitchers allows DFSers to stack a lineup full of established hitters. Gibson won't rack up a ton of punch outs, but he's held White Sox batters to a .181 OBP in his career. Tropeano posted a FIP of 2.6 while striking out 38 batters in 37.2 innings over seven starts with the Angels last season.

Scherzer and Gray present the safest options of the bunch. Both aces have dominated their respective opponents throughout their careers.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Michael Wacha (STL) vs. MIL 7
Steven Matz (NYM) vs. MIA 7
Justin Verlander (DET) vs. PIT 7
Aaron Nola (PHI) vs. SD 7
Jose Quintana (CWS) at MIN 6
Chris Young (KC) at HOU 6
Yovani Gallardo (BAL) at BOS 6
Brandon Finnegan (CIN) at CHC 5
Collin McHugh (HOU) vs. KC 5
Hisashi Iwakuma (SEA) vs. TEX 5

Wacha got roughed up in his season debut, but he should be able to bounce back against a Brewers lineup lacking a major threat outside of Ryan Braun.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Taylor Jungmann (MIL) at STL 4
Bud Norris (ATL) at WAS 3
Jarred Cosart (MIA) at NYM 2
Colby Lewis (TEX) at SEA 2
Jon Niese (PIT) at DET 1

Crafty left-hander Niese will have a tough time navigating through a Tigers lineup full of right-handed, veteran power-hitters. He's allowed a .435 OBP against Tigers batters in his career.
