Watch: Possum delays LSU baseball game, sparks late rally
LSU's college baseball team has a new furry good luck charm: Rally Possum.
During the seventh inning of LSU's game against Arkansas on Saturday night, with the Tigers trailing 9-4, a tiny possum made its way onto the field. After evading capture for several minutes, the possum was caught and carried off the field in a bag.

According to Glenn Guilbeau of The Advertiser, the possum's appearance came not long after "Louisiana Saturday Night" - which features the line "Belly full o' beer and a possum in a sack" - was played over the speakers at Alex Box Stadium.
LSU went on to score an unearned run on an error to cut the lead to 9-5, and scored four more at the bottom of the ninth to tie things up. The game went to extra innings, with the Tigers winning 10-9.
