The 30-year-old wrestler, most recently working under the persona of "Stardust," has been with the WWE since 2006. Rhodes is a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and has held some form of the company's tag-team titles on six separate occasions.
His family is one of the most famous in all of wrestling. Rhodes' father is the legendary Dusty Rhodes, who passed away in June of last year. His half-brother Dustin - better known as "Goldust" - is a long-time WWE performer, and he married ring announcer "Eden Stiles" in 2013.
WWE has made no comment on the situation.
