Seth Rollins returns at Extreme Rules, pedigrees Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins has returned to World Wrestling Entertainment, and that means bad things are in store for Roman Reigns.
Following his successful defense of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles at Extreme Rules on Sunday, a returning Rollins made his way into the ring to lay out a weakened Reigns with a pedigree.
Rollins then picked up the title belt and hoisted it in the air in front of a raucous crowd at the Prudential Center as Extreme Rules went off the air.
The former Shield member has been on the shelf since November after being diagnosed with a torn right ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus following a match at a live event in Dublin, Ireland.
He was forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as a result, with Reigns becoming champion for the first time after winning a tournament at Survivor Series.
